Year 12 Art students visited the degree exhibitions Loughborough University last week. They had a tour of the campus and faculties and gained inspiration for their own art coursework!

Celebrating 5 years of Hope Food North Birmingham 🎉

Originally set up during the Covid-19 pandemic, this incredible charity has grown into a vital lifeline for the local community—supporting those facing food poverty, reducing food waste, and operating with minimal costs thanks to its dedicated team of volunteers.

Each week, their pop-up food banks support around 550 people, offering not only essential food and supplies, but also a welcoming space, friendly support, and connections to other services.

From collecting surplus food from local supermarkets to delivering nearly 5,000 emergency parcels over the past five years, their impact is truly inspiring. It was a privilege for our school to attend their anniversary event and celebrate the passion and teamwork behind everything they do.

We are proud to support Hope Food and look forward to continuing our partnership in the next academic year 💚

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership - ATLP

We are incredibly proud of Year 12 students Lucas and Harrison, who recently took part in the Royal Sutton Fun Run in support of Crohn’s and Colitis UK.

Together, they raised an amazing £1,600 and completed the run in a fantastic time of 1 hour 8 minutes! 🏃‍♂️💨

An outstanding achievement for such a great cause — well done to you both! 👏✨

Prior to half term, Ms Wilson had the privilege of attending a DofE Gold Award celebration at Buckingham Palace with two of our former students, Hannah and Lenny!

It was fantastic to catch up and celebrate their incredible achievement. Both completed all levels of their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award during their time with us – a testament to their dedication and resilience.

A very proud moment for our school community – congratulations to you both! 👏✨

💙🍦 A little ice cream, a can of pop, and a lot of memories…

This afternoon our Year 11s spent time together signing shirts, laughing, and soaking up their final moments as a year group. It’s in these simple moments that the reality starts to sink in — the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

Friendships written in ink, messages that will last a lifetime, and memories they’ll carry far beyond these school gates. Days like today remind us it was never just about lessons — it was about the people, the journey, and the moments that meant everything.

We are so proud of each and every one of you. You’ll always be part of our story. 🌟
