These will take place at Ferham Park, Rosehill Park, Winterhill BMX Track, Brampton Brierlow Park/ Dexx Scooter Park, Maltby Skatepark and Rother Valley Country Park.

Rotherham Uplift Festival 2026 which will take place in the town centre 12-4pm on Saturday 18th July 2026 and will showcase a range of activities for children of all ages and families to try. This will include Freestyle Football, Dance, Art, Music, Scootering, BMX, Basketball, Parkour, Reality Arcade Games and much much more!

The excitement is building, and it's time to start packing those bags!

We're heading to Italy next week, where hot and sunny weather is forecast, with temperatures expected to reach 32°C and above. Please make sure your child packs plenty of sun cream (SPF 50), after-sun lotion, a hat and a refillable water bottle to help them stay safe and comfortable in the heat.

Parents and carers are reminded to pack at least two pairs of trainers for their child. One pair will be needed for water activities, while the second pair should be suitable for dry activities and travelling.

On the day of departure, students should meet at the Rockingham Dining Hall at 11:15am. Please enter the school site via the Piccadilly Gate. If your child requires any medication during the trip, please hand this directly to a member of the staff team at departure.

Students will also need to bring €20 in cash for their hotel deposit. Please ensure this is brought in euros.

As part of our PSHE drop down morning today, our Y7 students were designing water safety posters. The Y7 team were tasked with picking a winner but they simply couldn't do it as the quality was so good. In the end, they narrowed it down to two winners! Congratulations to Isla and Harley and to the whole year group who listened carefully and produced excellent work.

During their English lessons, Y7 students have been studying a range of poems about the animal world. They were then given the opportunity to enter a poetry competition. Every single entry was fabulous and it made judging difficult. Here are our three winners - Anya A, Polly T and Tom M. Well done to everyone who took part.
