A red heat-health alert has been issued for the South West from 1am on Wednesday 24 June until 11pm on Thursday 25 June. This is the highest level of alert and indicates a risk to everyone's health.

Look out for vulnerable family, friends and neighbours. Make sure they are aware of how they can keep cool and hydrated.
