We are incredibly proud that some of our Reception children were selected to represent Goldsmith by performing the Aspire O Saurus song alongside schools across our WAT family! 🎶🌟

We were delighted to host our very first Coffee Chat ☕ and Community Workshop at Goldsmith this week! 🎉

It was fantastic to welcome Goldsmith parents and WHG customers to come together, connect and learn in a warm and friendly environment 🤝💛. The session included creative craft activities, support around finances , and opportunities to develop digital skills - something for everyone!

This is the start of an exciting 6-week programme, and we can’t wait to continue building skills, confidence and community over the coming weeks 🌟

☀️ Lunchtime fun in the sun! ☀️

At our school, we love seeing children enjoy the outdoors during their lunch break. While they're having fun playing with friends, we're also making sure they stay safe in the sunshine. 🌞💛

Our staff encourage children to:
🧴 Apply sunscreen before school
💧 Stay hydrated throughout the day
🧢 Wear hats when spending time outside
🌳 Take advantage of shaded areas during playtime

The wellbeing and safety of our pupils is always a top priority, and we're committed to helping everyone enjoy the warm weather responsibly while making happy memories with their friends. 😊🌈

Our Nursery children had a fantastic day on their trip to Dudley Zoo and Castle! 🦁🏰✨

They loved exploring the zoo and spotting a variety of amazing animals from around the world. The children also enjoyed an exciting train ride, had lots of fun playing on the beach area, and went on an unforgettable adventure in the castle playground. 🏰

One of the highlights of the day was sharing lunch together in the beautiful castle grounds 🧺🌳, making special memories with their friends 💛.

It was a wonderful day full of laughter, exploration and learning, and we are so proud of how our children represented our school, they were fantastic ambassadors throughout the trip! 🌟👏

With sunny skies and high temperatures expected this week, please make sure your child is ready for the heat! 🌞😎

Here are some essential tips to stay safe and comfortable:
🧴 Sun cream must be applied before school
🧢 Bring a sun hat
💦 Bring a full water bottle every day
👟 PE kits may be worn all week:
• Goldsmith black PE top or a plain black top
• Black shorts

Today Goldsmith was well and truly represented at the Steplab Conference in London! 🇬🇧✨

Mrs Twells attended a range of inspiring workshops, taking away lots of valuable tips to bring back to our school. Her highlight of the day was watching a fantastic clip of our wonderful teachers at GPA in action during Mr Wells’ session on professional development! 👏🎥
