A fantastic day at the RAF Cosford Air Show for cadets and staff from across the Matrix Academy Trust Combined Cadet Force.
Our cadets had the opportunity to experience some of the very best of military aviation, STEM and aviation heritage, further inspiring the next generation of leaders.
A special thank you to Air Commodore Al Lewis, Commandant Air Cadets, and Group Captain Roger Simon, Regional Commandant Wales & West, for taking the time to speak with our cadets and staff, and for posing for photographs with them throughout the day.
We look forward to returning in even greater numbers next year.

Tack tack, Sweden - we've all had a great time on our Turing trip!

Yesterday we travelled back from Sweden. We have taken lots of different transport on this trip - coach, plane, bus, metro, and even a public transport ferry!

Alongside the athletics action, Trust Sports Day 2026 will showcase the incredible talents of our pupils through live performances throughout the day.
From singers and dancers to special showcases from schools across the Trust, the event will celebrate creativity, confidence and community alongside sporting excellence.
Whether you're competing on the track or performing for thousands, every pupil has a chance to shine. ✨
We can't wait to see our young people take centre stage.

We visited Skansen to learn about Swedish traditions and see some Nordic animals.

Mamma Mia! We visited the ABBA museum and felt the Eurovision fever!

Pupils learned about school in Sweden with visits to a local school and a talk at the Swedish Department for Education.

Traditional Swedish meatballs were are on the menu last night, plus some chocolate cake to celebrate a pupil's birthday - yummy!

Pupils visited the Stockholm Police Museum, where they learned about Swedish policing through the years and had a chance to dress up or sit in police vehicles.
