We started our classes a month ago and we can already see our students making progress. We couldn't be prouder!
Here having a go at the mirror game, an easy and fun game that promotes teamwork, concentration and spatial awareness.
Here is how we play it:
🔹In pairs we start by deciding who is going to be the 'dancer/mover' and who the 'follower/mirror', then we sit down facing each other.
🔹The 'dancer' starts moving, slowly and clearly, using one body part at a time at first, while the 'mirror' copies them.
🔹Later the 'dancer' can stand up and move around the room, always making sure that their 'mirror' can follow them with ease. Once we start feeling comfortable with the task and we work as a team then the 'dancer' can experiment by changing speed or quality of movement (slow and fast, shaky and smooth).
🔹After a couple of minutes the roles change and the 'dancer' becomes the 'mirror'.
Tip: Play some music to make this game even more fun!
Try this at home and let us know in the comments below.
