In loving memory of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh 1921-2021.
The Duke of Edinburgh's greatest legacy is the creation of his visionary Award scheme. Millions of children across the world have benefitted from what he once referred to as 'a do-it-yourself growing up kit'.
What a far-sighted man he was in a post-war era with his initiative to give the young the opportunity of adventure, to challenge themselves, to learn some essential life skills and to survive and thrive.
I'm immensely proud to be associated with the DofE Award, teaching cookery skills to a new generation of incredible, inspirational and resilient young people.

Shot in my teeny garden on a blissfully hot summer's day, shaded by drooping fig and olive trees, it felt more like Tuscany than Wandsworth...
