Tuition is a numbers game!

Most parents, when they decide that a tutor is required to help their child, immediately think the route is 1 to 1.

This is 60 minutes tuition in the child's home and delivered by a specialist 1 to 1 tutor.

For some children this is very powerful; it reduces a class size of 30 to that of individual attention. The child is the sole focus and is no longer potentially lost in a sea of children.

For some children that can actually add pressure. At Conexus Tuition we place your child in a small group of up to six pupils and watch them blossom.

Every Monday, a group of Bridgewater High school pupils come across to our classroom in Lymm.

They are glorious. 💜🎓💜🎓

Preparing for a Year 10 assessment we’ve been using revision cards, I’ve taught them how to do it so powerfully that it can really impact their study.

Well, on Monday they revealed a whole new level of stationery. I was in awe at the level of organisation they were unlocking.

Now, if it was 1987, they would’ve been my friendship group and I would’ve bought what they did and I would have guarded so much pleasure from organising my revision cards.

I genuinely believe you cannot have enough stationary in your life.

When we first talk to potential tutors, we want to hear passion for their subject and for education, because we know this enthusiasm is passed on to our students in their sessions with us.

Our sessions are lively and engaging and delivered by tutors who are qualified and experienced.

Two things can be true at the same time…

In our Sandy Lane, Stockton Heath class, the Bridgewater pupils experienced top class, exam focused tuition whilst enjoying a visit from my house rabbit, Scotty! 🐾🐾🐾

So yes, GCSE Science, Maths and English can take place whilst children remain fully focused and are treated to a royal visit at the same time.

We are aware that, after a full day at school, it can be a big ask to extend the day with additional educational focus.

But at Conexus, we are committed to making that experience memorable on every level. 💜

Wednesday afternoon is A level afternoon…

For the record A level Biology is delivered by Lorna, a highly experienced biology teacher and exam marker.

We are delighted to announce a brand new summer collaboration between Conexus Tuition and Lymm RUFC.

This exciting summer programme combines rugby, English and maths to keep children active, engaged and learning throughout the school holidays.

Children will enjoy a unique blend of classroom learning and on pitch rugby coaching throughout the day, moving between English and maths sessions and rugby activities delivered by experienced coaches from Lymm RUFC.

Half learning, half rugby, all designed to build confidence, skills and teamwork.

Delivered by fully qualified teachers from Conexus Tuition and experienced coaches from Lymm RUFC, children will receive expert support both in the classroom and on the pitch.
