Great Sankey Primary School

Another great day at Tyn-y-Felin despite the winter-like weather! The wind and rain did not spoil our fun.

We’ve done archery, been kayaking on the sea, had a quiz and played indoor boules followed by a campfire and toasted marshmallows and all topped off with pyjama bingo!
We are sooooo ready for our bed though!!

The children have been AMAZING!

A very successful and sunny first day at Tyn-y-Felin in Anglesey with Year 4.

Beachcombing and sandcastles followed by bed making - that was a very interesting exercise!! 😂 and a yummy tea.

We’re now onto free play in the evening sunshine before some crafts and then sleep time (hopefully!)

ETA: due back at school just after 7.30. Please leave space for the coach to turn and get into the car park so avoid parking on the zig zags.

They’ve loved Harry Potter World and are heading north.

Day 2 in London nearly at an end. They’re all still in the theatre and will shortly be making their way back to the hostel.

It’s been another very busy one but even the rain did not dampen the fun!

London update:

The children were brilliant through the night, they’re up and getting ready to go down for breakfast before venturing off to do some serious sightseeing!

Day 1 done and they’ve already packed so much in!

⭕️Tucked up in bed and fast asleep…well, let’s see how that one goes! 🤣 ☑️ or ❎?

Lots of very happy and excited children. Sleep tight everyone. 😴

We are looking forward to welcoming all our Reception 2026 families to our open evening on Monday at 6pm.
