What a fantastic National Thank a Teacher Day at The Whitstable School!
Today, pupils delivered more than 1000 handwritten messages of thanks to teachers and support staff, celebrating the difference they make every day.
We were also proud to celebrate Mrs Payne's Silver Award success in the Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School category at the with a special dance showcase featuring many of the talented students she has inspired.
Thank you to every member of staff who helps our students learn, grow and thrive!

We are delighted to share that Mrs Payne, our Subject Leader for Dance, has been named a Silver Winner in the prestigious Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School category at the Pearson National Teaching Awards 2026!
Since joining our school, Mrs Payne has inspired students with her passion, dedication and commitment to helping every young person grow in confidence and enhance their skills. This national recognition is thoroughly deserved and we could not be prouder.
