🌟 Learner of the Month – May 🌟

A huge congratulations to Sara Dodd, who has been nominated as our May Learner of the Month by tutor Catherine Jackman from the Introduction to Illustration course 🎨

Sara is described as a really dedicated student who diligently completes all her assignments to a really high standard. She shows great creativity and sensitivity in her illustrations and is open-minded to giving all the different assignments a try.
But more than that, for me as a tutor, what makes Sara shine and stand out is the atmosphere she brings into the classroom. She brings laughter, warmth and fun and makes the whole experience joyful. With Sara, the whole room feels energised and happy. She is so supportive of her classmates and really engages with the class team.

It is an absolute pleasure to work with Sara and see her confidence and illustration skills grow. I can’t wait to see her final illustrations. I know they will be amazing.
Sara’s confidence grows every week. Not only with her drawing skills, but in chatting and sharing her creative ideas with her other classmates. She really engages in all discussions and the quizzes we have.

Sara has brilliant attendance; she always arrives early, engages with every activity and really throws herself into each task. She is an exceptional student who is really gifted in creativity.

We are so proud of our wonderful Acorn Learners who recently took part in a 2-day Artist Spotlight class, where they explored the beautiful work of Claude Monet.

Inspired by his famous Water Lilies, our learners created their own stunning masterpieces – full of colour, creativity, and imagination! 🌸🎨 Each piece reflects their hard work, unique style, and growing confidence as artists.

It has been fantastic to see their enthusiasm and creativity flourish over the two days, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved. 💚
