As part of our celebrating summer activities 🌞😎, the children enjoyed a variety of exciting and engaging activities today. In the role-play ice cream parlour, they developed their communication, social, and mathematical skills by taking orders, serving customers, and counting scoops. Children also designed and decorated their own summer, colourful ice lollies using a range of materials, giving them opportunities to explore different textures, colours, and imaginative ideas while celebrating the joys of summer 🍦🍭🍡

A group of children took a trip to Wilmslow library 📚 today. They explored the library, the books and listened to a story. Visiting the library supports literacy and teaches children about their community. It builds independence as children browse for books.
