Woodlands Nursery - Guernsey

This week Blossoms have enjoyed some adventures to the gardens at the Castel Parish Hall. We have enjoyed using our binoculars and magnifying glasses, looking in the planters spotting mini beasts. 🐞🪲

The children also had the opportunity to take their own photos which are shown on the last two images 📸

The States Early Years Team will be holding a stall at Seafront Sunday this weekend. Our stall will have lots of activities and information about supporting early reading skills at home and promoting our Language for Literacy Programme which is running in many local schools and preschools. Hello Summer ☀️ 😎⛱️

What a glorious week we have had 🌼 lots of fun and endless water play! 💦🩵

On Monday morning blossoms enjoyed an outing to Candie Museum to explore the Lost In Nature exhibition.

We enjoyed looking at all of the artwork of our beautiful island and feeling the texture pads of the paintings.

We were super excited to find a bug hotel and a ladybird outside which ties in nicely to our interest in Mini beasts at the moment 🌿🐞

Mini Leaves have been hard at work making their own banana smoothies today.

We have been peeling, cutting, pouring, blending and most importantly tasting! 🍌
