Congratulations to Grace Miah for winning this year's Piero Cavagnetto Award in association with the Lions Club of Guernsey, as the culinary apprentice of the year for 2026.
Piero was an active and highly respected member of the Lions Club of Guernsey, and following his death, his family wished to create an award in his memory, connected to the hospitality industry in which he had worked for much of his life. It was presented by Piero's two sons Mario and Carlo.
Grace is currently working at Otto’s Restaurant.
In addition The Lions Club of Guernsey presented an award to the hospitality apprentice of the year - Ana Da Silva who is working at OGH Hotel. And a new award was added this year for the patisserie chef of the year, attending the part-time level 2 programme at TGI College. This was awarded to Sallam Haouassi who works at Red.
Congratulations to everyone! 🏆

This session is also for those who have not accepted their offer and who need more information, or would like to discuss their options.
Students should just come in to the campus where their course is based and speak to one of our team members. The session is a drop-in, with no need to book.

✅ How microcredentials can meet current workforce demand
✅ Flexible delivery methods and the learner experience
✅ Academic level, progression pathways, and links to qualifications
Access, affordability, and equity
Why join?
