Consolidating Our Gains
This Weekβs Focus: Progression - Aim Higher, Success Doesnβt Stop at Graduation
Parents and Guardians: Letβs remind our learners that graduation is a milestone, not the finish line. Keep encouraging them to set new goals and keep growing.

Nine months ago, we made the bold decision to adopt the British Oxford International Curriculum (OIC).
Today, that decision has been validated on the global stage, and SMDPS students rank among the very best. πππ
We are proud to announce that our student, Nana Kwame Appiah Akuamoah-Boateng, emerged as one of Ghanaβs top performers in the 2026 Oxford International Standardised Assessments (OISA). This is the first time our pupils have sat the OISA.
Globally, Nana Kwame has been rated βExceptionally Highβ and recognised by Oxford International as Subject Champion in English, achieving the highest standardised score in the subject.
Our vision met discipline.
The SMDPS community believed.
To every SMDPS parent: Your trust is yielding global results.
To every SMDPS teacher: Your dedication and expertise are shaping world-class learners.
To every learner: This is your standard. If Nana Kwame can, so can you.
This achievement belongs to the entire SMDPS community. ππβ¨

SMDPS joins NCCE to mark Citizenship Week. π¬π
We were honoured to host representatives from the Ghana National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in commemoration of Citizenship Week.
SMDPS students were equipped with three key lessons for nation building:
1. Digital Responsibility
2. Upholding The Rule of Law in Every Space
3. Embracing Unity: No Tribal Division
Our students now know: The law does not log off when we go online, and Ghana is stronger when we drop tribal division and uphold unity. πͺπ½

Dear Parents, this is for your child.
Every SMDPS teacher in this photo has just levelled up in Artificial Intelligence.
Not for certificates. Not to chase trends. But to give your child an edge. Because your child deserves an education that matches tomorrowβs demands.
Our teachers trained with Artificial Intelligence experts from Tennessee State University to reimagine how we teach and prepare SMDPS students for a world that rewards leaders and thinkers.
The future of learning is not coming.
Itβs already in our classrooms.
Welcome to The SMDPS. ππ

Every child has a story to tell. πΌοΈπ¨
Our Grade 2 learners turned observation into art: identifying, naming and creating with care and enthusiasm, and bringing their ideas to life with colour. Each artwork reflects confidence, imagination and the joy of learning in a nurturing environment.
Rooted in Wisdom And Knowledge, this is the SMDPS experience - where curiosity is guided, talent is nurtured and every child is seen.

This Weekβs Focus: Leadership β Service Before Self
We are celebrating the appointment of our new Prefects and reminding every learner that leadership starts with attitude, action and accountability. Parents and guardians, please encourage leadership at home through small, everyday responsibilities.
