Engagement with first batch of students who are trialing the New Curriculum under the Secondary Education Reform.

This week, the Ashanti Regional Oversight Committee (ROC) and Regional Monitoring Team (RMT) visited some Trial Schools within the region to assess the preparedness of final year students as they sit write WASSCE under the New Secondary Education Reform.

The engagements focused on encouraging candidates and to engage them on how to approach the exams.

Ashanti remains committed to supporting the Secondary Education Reform.

April 7th - 27th is Largely Going to Be Project Works and Oral Exams

Highlights from the National Steering Committee’s monitoring visits to 8 selected Senior High Schools in the Ashanti Region.

The exercise was to assess how digital skills and ICT tools are being integrated into classroom teaching and learning following the Digital Literacy & ICT Integration course.

The team observed lessons, engaged school management, teachers and students, shared feedback with key stakeholders, highlighted best practices, and identified areas for improvement.

Together, we are driving the shift from theory to real classroom practice.
