The Bank of Ghana Chair in Finance and Economics at the University of Ghana, Prof. Paul Yegandi Imhotep Alagidede, hosted the 3rd edition of the Indigenous Enterprises Seminar Series themed “Rooted & Rising: Women at the Forefront of Indigenous Enterprises” on 20th May 2026 at the University of Ghana Cedi Conference Centre.

The seminar brought together scholars, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs to discuss how Ghanaian women are shaping, sustaining, and scaling businesses that carry their culture forward through keynote dialogues, practical strategy, and professional exchange.

UGBS Endowment Fund Board of Trustees Holds Handing Over Ceremony

The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) Endowment Fund Board of Trustees marked a significant leadership transition on 29th April 2026, as Mrs. Frances Adu-Mante officially handed over the chairmanship of the Board to Mr. Daniel Asiedu.

The ceremony was held at the UGBS New Conference Room and celebrated Mrs. Adu-Mante’s fifteen years of dedicated service to the Board and welcomed a new phase of leadership for the Endowment Fund.
