As part of our Independence Day celebrations, we engaged the children in a variety of art and craft activities designed to imbue them with a strong sense of patriotism.
Through painting, coloring, and creative projects inspired by Ghana, they expressed their love for their country while developing their creativity and fine motor skills. 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
Raising proud, confident young citizens, one activity at a time.❤️💛💚
This is how we’re celebrating Ghana Week in style! 🇬🇭
Day 3 – Ghana Week 🇬🇭
Today, our children prepared a local Ghanaian breakfast as part of our Ghana Week celebration , warm corn porridge (koko) served with puff puff!
It was a beautiful hands-on experience that taught them about teamwork, culture, and practical life skills. Learning is always more meaningful when children can see it, touch it, and taste it!
We kickstarted our Independence Day celebration with a fun traditional stone passing game, singing “Sansan Kromah,” a lovely traditional twi song .
Through play, our children are learning teamwork, confidence, and pride in their culture. 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
It is UCMAS time! a lesson where children develop concentration and mental arithmetic skills by practicing with the abacus.

Valentine’s Day Craft Fun!
Today our little ones got creative making their own Valentine’s Day crafts! From cutting and colouring to sharing sweet messages, they expressed love in the most beautiful way.
Activities like this build creativity, fine motor skills, and most importantly, teach children how to show kindness and appreciation.
After-Class Sound Practice!
Today, our learners practiced grouping words into three sound families:
ai (rain, train)
ee (tree, feet)
a-e (cake, name)
Sorting words by sound helps children recognise patterns, hear long vowel differences, and read more confidently.
Try it at home, write simple words and let your child group them by sound. Learning feels like a game 😊

STEM IN ACTION:
Walking Water Experiment!
Today our little scientists explored how water moves and mixes colours through a fun hands-on experiment. They also learned an important real-life lesson: good drinking water should be clear and colourless.
We connected this to everyday examples like borehole water and galamsey-polluted water, helping children understand why clean water matters to their health and community.
Learning is powerful .when it is practical, fun, and meaningful!

While colouring may appear simple, it plays a vital role in developing focus, creativity, fine motor skills, and self-expression in young learners. It is truly rewarding to witness their little hands at work and their imaginations coming to life.
