Our Middle School students celebrated the end of one chapter and the exciting beginning of another as they officially promoted to high school!

A special thank you to ACS Athens alumna 𝗗𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗶𝘀 (Class of 2013) for returning as our guest speaker and encouraging our graduates to get involved, embrace new opportunities, step outside their comfort zones, and enjoy the journey without feeling the need to have everything figured out.

The ceremony also honored students with Special Recognition Awards across academic subjects, recognizing their dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence.

President 𝗗𝗿. 𝗣𝗲𝗴𝗴𝘆 𝗣𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀, Board President 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗶𝘀, and Middle School Principal 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘀, along with the entire ACS Athens community, are incredibly proud of your achievements and can't wait to see all you accomplish in the Academy and beyond!

𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵

Today, ACS Athens honors Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of justice.

As a community of learners, we recognize the importance of understanding history and fostering empathy, inclusion, and conscious citizenship.

Hand in hand with Kindergarteners and 3rd Graders, our Seniors made their way through the Academy, the Annex, the Elementary School, and the Middle School as the school community cheered them on to the beat of drums by faculty and staff. 🥁👏

The celebration continued at the Senior Brunch where yearbooks were signed, memories were shared, and friendships were celebrated. A beautiful tradition honoring how far they've come, and the exciting journey that lies ahead!

What a special day for our students, families, and teachers as we marked the successful completion of elementary school.
During the ceremony, our 5th graders proudly received their certificates from their teachers before coming together to sing and celebrate this important milestone. 🎶

As they prepare to begin middle school next year, we reflect on the friendships they have built, the lessons they have learned, and the growth they have shown along the way.

We look forward to seeing them embrace new opportunities, challenges, and experiences in the years ahead!

Today, we came together to celebrate our young learners and all they have accomplished throughout a year of growth, learning, and friendship. Surrounded by the love and support of their families and teachers, they marked this important milestone with proud smiles, happy hearts, and certificates in hand!

We continue to celebrate our students’ acceptances this year, honoring their dedication, perseverance, and excellence. Each success is a reflection of their hard work, and we are proud to share in their achievements.

Innovation, perseverance, and scientific curiosity led our seventh-grade students to an outstanding achievement at the NESA Virtual Science and Engineering Fair 2026.

With 37 teams representing our school and three challenging rounds of competition, our young scientists demonstrated exceptional research, problem-solving, and communication skills on an international stage. Their hard work earned top honors, including 1st Place Overall, along with multiple category awards in Microbiology, Biology, and Chemistry.

To celebrate these remarkable accomplishments, a special awards ceremony was recently held on campus, where the participating students were recognized in front of their peers and teachers for their dedication and accomplishments.

The 𝗔𝗖𝗦 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮 - 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘁 was the perfect way to celebrate an outstanding year of athletic achievement. We proudly recognized every JV and Varsity team for their hard work, commitment, and accomplishments throughout the season, while also celebrating individual award recipients.

Together, we continue to build a culture of excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship!
