June SoG Recap

This month we covered:
-Model race: Claude 3.8 vs. Gemini 3.5 & Alibaba’s Qwen breakthrough
- Agents & Multi-agent orchestration: Managed agents in Google AI Studio & MIT’s Project Wiser
- Skills as repeatable AI workflows: Converting meeting insights into design briefs via wiserwork.ai Skills
- Edge AI & models running locally: NVIDIA & Snapdragon’s push for high-performance Local AI Inference
- AI-native design tools: Rapid prototyping using v0.app and wiserwork.ai integration
- Security gaps & hallucinations: Meta’s chatbot exploit and Claude 3.8’s accuracy gains
- AI economics & IPO signals: Anthropic’s confidential SEC filing and SpaceX/XAI partnerships
- AI Ethics & Robotics:Pope Francis’s “Humanitas” guidelines and Figure AI’s humanoid mass production

Key insights:
👉 We’re shifting from manual prompting to “Skill-based” orchestration, where workflows are pre-packaged for the team.
👉 Local Inference is becoming a reality, reducing reliance on the cloud for sensitive or heavy tasks.
👉 Security must remain human-centric; automated agents in sensitive areas (like password resets) remain a major risk.

A few days ago we had the pleasure of running another session of our AI-First Teams training with Hellenic American Educational Foundation Athens College - Psychico College (HAEF Athens College - Psychico College), where the teams are not just experimenting with AI but are committed to becoming AI-First. We were honoured that President Professor Spyros N. Pollalis attended and are grateful for the warm welcome.

One thing became evident: real GenAI adoption requires something that lives after the programme ends.

On many occasions the lifecycle of a training programme is as follows: announcement, preparation, training, post-session survey, follow-up email. Done. The team and participants move on. The habits don’t form because habits require repetition. And this is wrongly linked to individual motivation although it is a structural problem. One-off experiences do not produce new behaviour they produce awareness, and enthusiasm which unfortunately fades away as urgency of actual work takes over.

Real adoption requires something that lives after the programme ends. A system that keeps running. An infrastructure that complements the new behaviour and makes it an organic part of your daily routine. One that is lightweight enough to maintain but also structured enough to matter.

This is where our infrastructure layer comes into play through wiserwork; our AI meeting agent that keeps the new behavior active, tracks what’s working and adapts as workflows evolve. The tool that not only records your meetings, but helps you act on your action items with the power or GenAISkills.

At Panathēnea, "From 10x individuals to 10x teams." our CEO, Yiorgos Nikoletakis, shared what is really happening inside organisations navigating GenAI adoption today.

In almost every organization going through GenAI adoption right now, the same pattern emerges. A handful of people, maybe 20%, maybe fewer, figure it out early. They experiment, they develop real fluency, they start getting disproportionate results. They become the AI-first employees everyone else knows by reputation.

The rest of the team watches. Some try to keep up. Some disengage entirely. Most land somewhere in the middle: aware that AI exists, occasionally using it, never really integrating it.

At the 4th GenAI Summit, 24 out of 50 participating managers ranked this problem "a few 10x individuals doesn't translate into 10x teams" as the most critical challenge they were facing. The uneven distribution of AI capability inside their own organizations.

The less-discussed cost of this gap: the 10x individuals don't stay. They look left and right, see that the system doesn't match their level, and eventually move to environments that do. You invest in developing high performers and the gap you failed to close drives them away.

Through wiserwork.ai the skills of the best people on the team get systematized into shared workflows and skill libraries that everyone can use. The 10x individual stops being a person and becomes a system.

Every junior employee is becoming an orchestrator of agents. A mini CEO in their role.

What skills do they need?
Self-initiative. And a classical education.

We're living in the era of the revenge of the humanities.
You don't need prior technical training. Everything is done in natural language.

The optimist created the airplane.
The pessimist created the parachute.

Channel whatever disposition you have toward creative paths.

If you want to understand how your team can make this shift, book a meeting with us via our website: https://academy.100mentors.com/

Or if you are attending Panathēnea, this Friday (29/05) at 16.30, join us. Yiorgos will be talking about building an AI-first team.

We have people who now train the agents that work at the larger scale.

A year ago, our Customer Success team made 100 calls a week.
Today they make 10.

They'll continue doing the work they did. Just at a smaller scale, enough to stay connected to the context, to remain relevant.
