"Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati is proud to be a partner in the AIM-Learn Project, advancing innovation in AI-powered predictive maintenance across Europe! 🏭✨
As industries move toward Industry 4.0 and beyond, integrating Artificial Intelligence into manufacturing processes is becoming essential for building competitive, sustainable and resilient systems.
A key focus of our involvement is contributing to the AIM-Learn Project, funded by the Erasmus+ program, within the ERASMUS-EDU-2025-PI-ALL-INNO call, dedicated to partnerships for innovation, by helping address the skills gap in AI-based predictive maintenance. 🧠💻
Through the development of a competence framework, a modular curriculum and practice-oriented training, the project supports both vocational and higher education in equipping learners with future-ready skills.
A central element of the project is the Smart Learning Lab, where technologies such as machine learning, anomaly detection and predictive analytics are applied using synthetic and real data. The 300-hour training program combines e-learning, problem-based learning and hands-on experience to ensure both theoretical understanding and practical expertise.
During the project, we are also focusing on:
✅ Supporting flexible micro-certifications aligned with European standards.
✅ Strengthening collaboration among partners across multiple European countries.
✅ Promoting the adoption of AI-driven solutions in manufacturing and maintenance.
🌍 Together, we are shaping the future workforce and contributing to the digital transformation of European industry.
