We are sending a heartfelt thank you and a huge round of applause to our outstanding Home Economics team for making Career Day 2026 a tremendous success at Three Miles Secondary School!
The Home Economics Department truly brought learning to life where Students were treated to an impressive display of foods from the six food groups, demonstrating the importance of balanced nutrition and healthy eating. Our exhibit also featured elegant table setting that highlighted the art of dining etiquette and hospitality, along with a variety of small kitchen equipment used in food preparation and service.
It was inspiring to see students actively engaged, asking questions, exploring career opportunities and discovering the many pathways available within Home Economics.

We look forward to making next year's Career Day even bigger and better!

The Modern Language Department had a productive, educational, and enjoyable day at the school's Options Day & Career Fair 2026!

Students were given the opportunity to explore how learning Spanish can broaden their horizons and open doors to a world of opportunities. Through engaging discussions and interactive activities, they learned about the importance and advantages of being bilingual in today's global society, including enhanced communication skills, career prospects, and cultural awareness.

One of the highlights of the day was the variety of Spanish-themed games and challenges designed to test participants' knowledge of the language. Students enthusiastically participated, and it was especially pleasing to see parents and teachers joining in the fun and showcasing their own skills as well!

The Head of Department, Miss Alisa Holmes, extends sincere thanks to her dedicated team, Miss Thalia Gonsalves and Miss Roshenna Holder, for their hard work, creativity, and commitment in making the department's presentation both informative and entertaining.

Thank you to all the students, parents, and visitors who stopped by and contributed to the success of the day.
