🎙️ Kids' Summer Workshop 🎧

Have you ever wondered how sound effects in cartoons and movies are made?

At our interactive workshop this summer, children aged 7 to 11 can explore how Foley artists make sound effects in their favourite cartoons.

A Foley artist is a person who re-creates sounds for animations, movies and videos. Foley artists use a variety of props to create specific sounds. For example, footsteps are created by a Foley artist putting different kinds of shoes on certain kinds of surface (e.g. wood board, sand, tiles etc.)

This workshop aims to encourage children to develop creativeness, attention and teamworking skills. Children can have a hands-on experience of exploring materials to create specific sound effects. They are encouraged to work with teammates closely, learning precision as well as teamworking techniques
