Posture required for ballroom dance. Very transferrable to Systema (along with ballet posture & skills🧑🏻‍🩰🩰); particularly with regard to Systema footwork & “stand up game”.

Outtakes from last Saturday’s class: multiple opponent drill.

In this clip, classmate Sam (in the white shirt ⚪️👕) is trying to slip past all the incoming strikes from his fellow classmates.

No takedown, no resisting, no return strikes. Just practicing his body positioning & his “走位” only.

The analogy that’s often used to help the students visualize what they’re doing; like you are slipping past all the lasers in your favorite spy movie (hence the Mission Impossible theme song).
