People think I “just” teach dance… but honestly, I’m running a tiny humans emergency response unit most days 💅💃

One minute I’m creating a playlist… next minute I’m a doctor, a judge, a doctor, a magician, AND emotional support bestie.

And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Because in between the chaos, the juice spills, and the “I can’t do it" moments, these kids are learning confidence, courage, and how to show up anyway ✨

It’s not just dance. It’s growing up in motion.

Whether I’m acting as the Maestro of the rhythm or a giggle maker, my real mission is making sure every single kid walks out that door feeling like a total superstar.

Is it loud? Oh, yeah! Is it a total circus? Definitely! But seeing a shy little soul transform into a "Watch me!" master is better than a giant bowl of ice cream with extra sprinkles on top!🍦(And you know I live for the sprinkles!)

Ballet class or butterfly sanctuary? Hard to say.

Today’s ballet lesson: arm movements... by becoming butterflies!🦋

Ms. Elle teaches ballet through imagination, so instead of just copying movements, the kids learn them through storytelling and play. Butterfly arms, floating steps, graceful spins — and somewhere in all the pretending, they’re also learning rhythm, balance, coordination, and confidence.

The magic of teaching little kids is realizing imagination is usually the fastest way in.

Rehearsals are getting serious 😳

We started this choreo and suddenly they’re out here hitting beats like tiny pop stars on tour??

As much as we’re obsessed with their amazing moves, what you’re really seeing here is our Move Monkeys building memory, confidence, timing, and teamwork — all while having the absolute best time doing it.

That’s sensory play doing its thing. Building brain connections, fine motor skills, and a whole lotta creativity. Not bad for a bunch of tiny humans covered in coloured foam, yeah? 😌
