Do you know the importance of Battement Tendu? Battement tendu is where you learn to apply the principles of proper placement, active turnout and épaulement. These are exactly the foundational building blocks of classical ballet, and just one exercise says a lot about your technique! When you can rework your Battement Tendu and execute it with more precision, good form and turnout, you can make progress with other aspects of your technique.

The details make the technique. A great benefit that comes with refining technique is that a dancer develops an eye for detail. It is fundamental to training, that students learn to internalise the working of their bodies, and not copy movements on a surface level.

The key to having a stable balance depends on many factors: strong core strength, straight back, high demi pointe. But many young dancers don’t realise that our hips are a very heavy part of our body. Not lifting your hips into the right alignment will always cause you to lose balance, no matter which position you are making.

Barre stretch from Beginner to Advanced levels, demonstrated by instructor Min Gyeong. Our Adult Ballet lessons always include stretches, and can be modified according to your flexibility so that you can stretch safely.

한국어로 차근차근, 소수 정원으로 세심하게. 한 명 한 명에게 집중하는 수업입니다.

This is a structured ballet program designed specifically for adult beginners. Those with less than six months of experience or who feel their foundation is weak are welcome to participate.

The class focuses on correct alignment and fundamental technique, including plié, turnout, balance training,
and introductory turning movements.

Instruction is delivered clearly in Korean,
with close attention provided in a small group setting.

This is not a class for those who are already advanced,
but for those who wish to begin properly.
