We are proud to see our distinguished Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) alumna, Dr Assel UVALIYEVA, Vice-President of Nazarbayev University, meet with a business delegation led by the Chief Executive of the HKSAR, Mr John LEE, during a recent visit to Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, Dr Uvaliyeva highlighted her PolyU connection, emphasising that she was delighted to serve as a bridge between Kazakhstan and Hong Kong. Mr LEE commended her as an outstanding ambassador, recognising her role in fostering closer ties between Kazakhstan and Hong Kong.

PolyU Business School successfully held its first-ever inter-university case competition on 6 June 2026. Designed to bridge academic theory with real-world application, the competition brought together outstanding undergraduate business student teams from leading local universities.
Organised by the PolyU Business School, with PolyU Business School Case Centre, Federation of Hong Kong Brands (FHKB), Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI), FHKI Education Committee, Golden Bauhinia Women Entrepreneur Association (GBWEA) and MEMO PLUS PR & CONSULTANTS, the competition provided a dynamic platform for contestants to sharpen their business acumen, strengthen their analytical skills, and broaden their global perspectives.
The day was filled with promising talent, creative strategic ideas, and engaging Q&A sessions. All teams demonstrated exceptional critical thinking as they tackled complex, real-life corporate challenges and proposed innovative solutions before a respected panel of industry professionals.
