November 2002 – April 2004:
Invitation from the Leisure & Cultural Service Department (LCSD) to promote the performing art of ballet. August 2004 - December 2012:
YBA has presented a total of 12 Gala performances between Hong Kong, Taipei, Osaka and Tokyo, involving over 10,000 participants including ballet schools, dance companies in all 4 cities and their audience. April 2006:
YBA was also invited to perform by Kansai Dance Art in Osaka; furthermore they were asked to appear in “Mini & Max” showcase - A Petit Art Space, presented by Muse Motion and LCSD at the Tuen Mun Town Hall. December 2010:
YBA received two “Project Grants” from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, to present a new ballet repertoire “New Giselle & Fake Daisy” and a cultural & educational project “Emerge & Depart-Four City Ballet
Camp”; Gala Performance 2010 in Hong Kong. April 2011:
YBA set up a fund raising Gala performance “Dance for Japan”, generously joined by over 40 professional dancers from major companies in Hong Kong, such as The Hong Kong Ballet, City Contemporary Dance
company, Muse Motion, Dance Art and Youth Ballet of Asia, which was the first time ever such an event for dance companies in Hong Kong has been initiated. December 2012
YBA has presented her 10th anniversary gala, @la belle danse classique. The 1st & 2nd parts were compendious reproduction version of Marius Petipa’s La Bayadère Act I & II, choreography was specially adjusted for the young artists of YBA official ballet school L’École de Jeune Ballet (EJB). The final parts of the program were Collection de Nouvelle and Esclave Grand Pas Classique de Le Corsaire in which 3 students from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts were invited as guest artists. YBA has presented an education performance summer gala, Notte del Balletto Classico. March 2014
YBA Gala ~ Prokofiev was presented in memory of Sergei Prokofiev (One of the major composers of 20 century). Performance was in 3 parts, A compendious reproduction version of Cinderella in one act with 4 scenes/ Konstellation/ and War Sonata. August 2011 – August 2015:
YBA presented “Asian Grand Prix”, an annual international ballet competition for students & young dancers in Hong Kong, using this as a platform to look for new talents, to offer them support in their studies and further their career development. January 2015
La Journée de la Danse was presented as the final production by Youth Ballet of Asia in preparation of company transformation.
