During the visit of Principal Ho, IKTMC, it is realised that the importance of having an integrated platform for visualizing the ways of identifying interdisciplinary problem-solving projects are needed to train up students with critical thinking of possible interdisciplinary solutions with life education.

Prof. Yeung, Head of School of Business, Gratia Christian College / Associate VP, UNESCO Hong Kong Association / Chair, Community Education, ICENECDEV UN Global Compact Member agreed with the sharing of Principal Ho that students in senior level of secondary school education and higher education needs to work together for developing self directed learning capabilities with AI, Humanity, Diversity in life and career planning.

Prof. Shirley Yeung at the International Conference on Rebranding the Luxury Industry 🌟

On 22 July 2025, Prof. Shirley Yeung, Professor of Practice and Head of Business at Gratia Christian College, was invited as Chair for Session 2.5: “Retail Revitalizing” at the International Conference on Rebranding the Luxury Industry, hosted by Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST).

Prof. Yeung also presented her research on Halal Sustainable Fashion, integrating AI and Blockchain technologies to rebrand and enhance Halal-related services.

Her innovative insights received positive feedback from professors and students from both Korea and Macau, underscoring the growing interest in sustainable and tech-driven solutions in the luxury and retail sectors.

Prof. Shirley Yeung was invited by Jami Chu, President of Rotary Club, Butterfly Valley to share Education of SDG x ESG to transform business, e.g. fashion, retail and creative art with Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) elements.

Student of Transformative Business Management Programme joined the event and exchanged ideas of business transformations and practical/ glocal learning experiences in school of business, Gratia Christian College with members of Rotary Club.

The vibe of Relearning and colearning with young people has been created.

Two paintings on Chinese Calligraphy of "Quiet" + "Internalization" and "Lotus in Motion" have been displayed to match the vision of Rotary Club, Butterfly of Evolution

"Transformation with SDG #3 Wellness via empathy and mindset with Innovations technology to help business to have a demand chain business magt model for SDG #8 Decent Job Creation is the key lesson we need to learn with action beyond SDG 2030," said Prof. Shirley.
