We are HIRING for ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR !!!

OPKO Finance provides Accounting, BPO and Advisory Services for our clients based in China Mainland, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Middle East, Vietnam and Philippines.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Philippine office based in Avenir Building, Archbishop Reyes Avenue, Lahug, Cebu City (near IT Park).

Salary: Php40,000 and/or above Php40,000

We offer an attractive remuneration package in line with your qualifications and experience including:
• Monthly bonus
• Public holiday off and 12 Annual leaves
• Medical insurance for you and 3 of your dependents after 3 months

* Job Responsibilities

• Oversees the preparation of periodic financial statements and the corporate annual report. of Junior staff or in house accountants
• Ensures that financial reports comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards
• Assists external auditors and provides required statements and information for the annual audit
• Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Recruits and hires Accounting staff and conducts performance evaluations
• Implements training for new hires and identifies training opportunities for current staff.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

* Requirements

• At least 4 years accounting experience in a CPA Firm (Accounting or Audit or BPO services)
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements and the month-end/year-end close process
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages,
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Accuracy and attention to detail, Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• Excellent management and supervisory skills as well as written & Communication skills
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
• Relevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) will be preferred
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Available as soon as possible - Full time, 5 working days a week

o Bookkeeping (full set of accounts)
o Preparation of monthly reports for the internal purpose of the client
o Preparation of payrolls, social and tax declarations
o Preparation of year-end financial statements
o Coordination for annual audit

* Requirements

o University degree (Diploma or certificate in accounting)
o Accounting experience, including in a CPA Firm at least for 1-3 years
o Be able to handle a full set of bookkeeping independently (daily accounting functions, accounting entries, AP, AR, GL, vouchers etc.)
o Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
o Be mature and independent
o Experience in working for foreign clients or/and study overseas
o Available as soon as possible – Full time, 5 working days a week
