Before the academic year ended, one of our Upper Elementary classes planned and hosted a joyful party for their new peers from the Lower Class—a beautiful reflection of IMS Montessori mixed-age community.
The food, games, and activities were 100% student-initiated and organized. Our teachers are so proud of their independent leadership skills!

IMS Graduation 2026 🎓
What a remarkable, beautifully emotional milestone. Watching our amazing Montessori Elementary graduates stand tall to deliver such heartfelt speeches and put on their splendid musical performance brought tears to our eyes. It feels like just yesterday you were so little, and now you are stepping into this next exciting chapter of life.
Throughout your time here, we have watched you transform. You have cultivated a deep love for self-initiated learning, resilience, and a beautiful sense of interconnectedness. We are so incredibly proud of the people you have become, and we know you will carry these core Montessori values like a guiding light into the future.

True Montessori education prepares children for the world, and our recent trip to the Montessori Model United Nations (MMUN) in Rome was the ultimate reflection of that!
Long before stepping into the conference halls, months of planning, practice, and idea-building helped our students develop thoughtful, confident presentations. A major milestone of the trip was the work our students completed ahead of time: drafting a Position Paper and presenting a powerful opening speech. With careful research and clear communication, they stepped forward ready to represent their views with confidence and purpose.
During their time in Rome, our students fully immersed themselves in Italy’s rich heritage—exploring historic landmarks, crafting beautiful mosaics, and wrapping things up with a super fun pizza and gelato workshop!
The ultimate highlight? Two of our very own IMS students were selected to deliver speeches during the official MMUN Closing Ceremony at the UN FAO Headquarters. Speaking in front of a massive international audience gave them invaluable public presentation experience, and they took the stage with total confidence.
We couldn't be prouder of how our young diplomats represented IMS! Can't wait for the next one!
