A heartfelt thank you to Mui, Tina, and Rog Thomas for joining our Senior Assembly as guest speakers on Friday, 22/5. Their message inspired our Grade 4โ6 students and the many parents who attended. ๐ฅฐ
The Thomas Family shared real life challenges, including hurtful stares and mean words and the less visible impact of cyberbullying, experienced even beyond school.๐คฉ
What stood out most was the growth mindset they model: meeting difficulties with a desire to learn and choosing to see opportunities within challenges. Tina and Rogโs kindnessโadopting and caring for someone whom they chose to love and supportโand Muiโs courage to pursue dreams despite medical circumstances reinforced that obstacles do not determine a future.
Muiโs journey through rugby, yoga, Hyrox, and marathon running also inspired students to keep growing, adapting, and persisting.
๐ If you missed the sharing, we encourage you to read The Unexpected Adoption. The book is available on the familyโs website: https://www.thegirlbehindtheface.com/book.html
Thank you, Mui, Tina and Rog again, for the honesty, openness, and hope that you shared. ๐

Our parents shared their hobbies, talents, and career skills, giving students a real-world look at different professions and passions.

During the Easter break ๐ฃ, we organised a memorable parent-child tour to Penang, Malaysia ๐ฒ๐พ. Parents and students, along with Mr Lo, Mr Tsui, and Ms Rose Cheung, joined us for an enriching experience of cultural discovery, bonding, and hands-on activities.
Penangโs diverse heritage offered families the chance to see how different cultures coexist in harmony ๐ค. Engaging conversations with local families provided valuable insights into their traditions and daily life.
Students enjoyed visits to plantations ๐ด and the zoo ๐, participating in interactive activities that fostered a love for nature and wildlife conservation. A highlight was the Malaysian cooking session ๐ณ, where families worked together, sharing laughter and the flavours of local spices.
This trip was more than a holidayโit was a journey of cultural appreciation, experiential learning, and family connection โค๏ธ. We thank all parents and staff for making it such a success.

On 21 March, our school came alive with joy and community spirit as we celebrated our annual Spring Social in support of the Life Education Development Fund. ๐ With over 1,200 participants this year, the event was a wonderful reflection of the strong partnership between students, parents, and staff, all coming together to support the character development and growth of our students. ๐
A highlight of the day was our Grade 6 entrepreneurship booths, where students showed great creativity, teamwork, and responsibility. ๐ชโจ Parents also played an important role by running booths selling lemonade and desserts, and by taking part in the exciting basketball and football competitions. โฝ๐ This year, we were especially happy to introduce a new activity โ parent-child dodgeball โ which brought plenty of fun and laughter to the day. ๐คพโโ๏ธ
Families also enjoyed a relaxing picnic together, spending a great afternoon connecting, supporting one another, and celebrating as a community. ๐งบ๐ The stage variety show featured wonderful performances in singing, magic, and dancing by both students and parents. ๐ค๐ถ A memorable finale saw 16 teachers performing alongside our parent Ms Jade Kwan, bringing the event to a joyful close. ๐๐
Thank you to everyone who helped make the Spring Social such a special success.

Our school had a fantastic time during our Inter-House Easter Egg Hunt! ๐ฅ๐ The whole school participated, searching across the entire campus with great excitement, teamwork, and enthusiasm. ๐ค๐จ๐
A special highlight was the Golden Egg ๐ฅโจ, which featured trivia about the resurrection of Jesus โ๏ธ๐. This reminded us that Easter is not only a time of fun and celebration ๐๐ถ, but also a time to remember the love of Jesus โค๏ธ๐
.
Congratulations to Eagle House ๐ฆ
