Thanks for the invitation📩🌻from the LUGTSA Team for us to have Gerontech Ambassadors and students from ‘Baptist Wing Lung Secondary School’ promoting Gerontechnology in the SWD’s booth event on 18-Nov (Sat)!🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

Not only did we share some Gerontech information with the public, but our team was glad to see many elderly care and rehabilitation service organizations there. More information about the community resources of the Tuen Mun district was introduced, and the mental well-being issue of the caregivers was addressed at the booths.🫂💖

本團隊於10月14日（星期六）在嶺大為進行「樂齡科技大使嘉許典禮暨巡迴成果展」🎈🎓除了為多項重點活動進行回顧外，更邀請到中學生代表分享計劃感受及相關成果，以及邀請到樂於與年青人互動交流的樂齡科技大使們接受嘉許證書🎊📸典禮中增設互動小遊戲環節，讓中學生及樂齡科技大使合力完成線上問答遊戲，體現長幼共融🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

😆【Awesome review】Gerontech Ambassador Recognition Ceremony cm Presentation💖

The ‘Gerontechnology 360° Education’ project team hosted a ‘Gerontech Ambassador Recognition Ceremony cm Presentation’🎈🎓on 14-October 2023 in the Lingnan Lecture Theatre. Many highlighted project activities were reviewed in the video, and different secondary school student representatives shared their learning experiences and innovative ideas. Certificates were distributed to all students and Gerontech Ambassadors to show appreciation for their continued participation in the project.🎊📸 The most impressive part was the online quiz game, facilitating the students and elderly ambassadors to interact and achieve intergenerational harmony.🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

The project team would like to express their gratitude to the ten secondary school teams (listed below), Gerontech Ambassadors, VTC intern students, Lingnan Service-Learning students and Project Trainees over two years.🌻✅They were all dedicated to promoting Gerontech education. There were almost 70 participants attended this ceremony.🫂🙏

本年度4月1日除了是愚人節，亦是「浸信會永隆中學」的同學們走出課室，到訪「屯門鄰舍輔導會」進行「智能安老社區考察」的重要日子📅！長者和同學們先透過熱身遊戲🧠打破彼此之間的隔膜，從而互相認識🧑‍🤝‍🧑！其後，同學們便化身成為樂齡科技大使，為長者們介紹樂齡科技產品的用法，而一眾長者亦毫不吝嗇自己的意見💬，詳細地分享作為用家在使用產品時所遇到的方便和困難之處🔍呢！而到了活動的尾聲，作出了關愛老友記便是關愛自己的小總結，為整個活動錦上添花🌹！

【Meaningful experience recap✨｜Community Field Trip🔍(bwlss)】

In addition to being April Fool's Day, it was also an important day for the students of ‘Baptist Wing Lung Secondary School’ to jump out of the classroom and go to the ‘Neighbourhood Advice-action Council in Tuen Mun District’ for a community field trip 📅! Older adults and the students got to know each other through playing a warm-up game 🧠🧑‍🤝‍🧑! Students becoming Gerontech ambassadors introduce Gerontech products to older adults, and these adults also gave their opinions💬 in terms of convenience and difficulties encountered from a user perspective🔍! A takeaway message, caring for old friends was caring for your future self, was carried out🌹!

本團隊有幸於本年度3月28號邀請「新界東長者學苑聯網」會員與「青年會書院」的學生參與「智能安老社區考察」活動📣。當中活動非常精彩👍，先由嶺大服務研習學生為中學生及長者介紹樂齡科技，後進行了長者👴🏻👦🏻及學生互相認識的破冰遊戲，及由中學生介紹各種類型的樂齡科技產品💊🔦。最深刻的畫面是有學生及長者對智能寵物🐶的實際功用表達了多元意見，並成為了長者及學生的交流平台💬。

【Awesome review｜Community Field Trip (cymcac)】
Our team was honored to invite members from ‘New Territories East Elder Academies Cluster’ and students from ‘The Chinese YMCA College’ to participate in the ‘Community Field Trip’ on 28-Mar (Tue)📣. The activity was excellent👍. First, Lingnan Service-Learning students briefly introduced the knowledge of gerontechnogy to the students and the older adults. Then, an ice-breaking activity was held for them to get to know each other. Various types of gerontech products💊🔦 were introduced by secondary school students. The most profound picture was that some students and older adults👴🏻👦🏻expressed their opinions on the functions of smart pets🐶, serving as a communication platform for them to exchange ideas💬.

本團隊非常榮幸於本年度3月25日（星期六）邀請到「仁濟醫院第二中學」的同學們👨🏻‍🎓到「嶺大賽馬會樂齡科技體驗館」進行樂齡科技導賞團活動！一眾朝氣蓬勃的樂齡科技大使為學生👴🏻👵🏻講解樂齡科技產品的應用，還有令人感到暖心的是，長者與同學們都相處得非常之融洽呢！在熱身遊戲中，大家都悅目娛心地打成了一片，就像家人👪一樣呢！之後同學們體驗及了解了醫🏥，食🍜，住🏠，行等不同種類的樂齡科技產品，可謂獲益良多🤗！

【Meaningful experience recap✨｜ Gerontech-X Lab Tour (ych2ss)】

Our team was very honored to invite students from ‘Yan Chai Hospital No. 2 Secondary School’ 👨🏻‍🎓 to the ‘LU Jockey Club Gerontech-X Lab’ for a guided tour of Gerontechnology! A group of energetic elders explained the gerontech products to the students👴🏻👵🏻, and the most heart-warming scene was that students got along with them very well! For example, everyone mingled happily, just like a family 👪 in the warm-up game! Students learned about and tried different types of gerontechnology products related to healthcare🏥, dining🍜, living 🏠, transport categories, which were said to have benefited a lot🤗!

本團隊有幸於本年度3月24日（星期五）與「嶺南鍾榮光紀念中學」的學生到訪「荔景白普理長者鄰舍中心」舉行「智能安老社區考察」活動。當中活動非常精彩👏，首先由實習同學Hei及John為中學生及長者介紹樂齡科技🖼️，然後進行了一個互相認識的破冰遊戲，長者及學生都打成一片，氣氛十分融洽🤡。接著便由學生為長者介紹各種類型的樂齡科技產品，長者們都表示學生的詳細介紹💬讓他們更了解不同產品的功能。希望是次活動能讓長者及學生有一個交流的平台，以及讓長者有一個了解樂齡科技的機會。

【Awesome review｜Community Field Trip (ldcwkmss)】

Our team was honored to visit the ‘Lai King Bradbury Neighbourhood Elderly Centre’ with students from ‘Lingnan Chung Wing Kwong Memorial Secondary School’ on 24-Mar (Fri) for the ‘Community Field Trip’. The activity was very astonishing 👏. First, the student interns briefly introduced gerontechnogy to the students and the older adults🖼️, and then conducted an ice-breaking exercise for them to get to know each other. Through this activity, they mingled together, and the atmosphere was harmonious🤡. The older adults expressed that they could better understand different product functions from students’ detailed introduction💬. We hoped this event served as a platform for them to communicate and learn about gerontechnology.

本團隊有幸於本年度3月20號與「香港聖公會何明華會督中學」的學生，在嶺大校園及「嶺大賽馬會樂齡科技體驗館」舉行了導賞團活動和樂齡科技產品介紹。當日的導賞團活動非常精彩👏，由一眾樂齡科技大使👩🏻‍🦳👨🏻‍🦳為學生介紹嶺大的歷史、校園設施，甚至建築物的設計理念🏫。除了令學生更了解嶺南大學獨有的歷史背景外，也加深了他們對於校舍的認識，以及嶺大學生在校園的生活📚。最令學生印象深刻的是永安廣場噴水池⛲️與兩旁的荔枝樹🌲及後山的景色🗻正正就是校徽的縮影。除了校園導賞，長者大使亦在樂齡科技體驗館為中學生介紹樂齡科技產品🦯🩼。學生對於體驗輪椅的部分十分感興趣，並了解到部分輪椅款式👨‍🦼可以上落樓梯，感到新奇。活動場面十分融洽，當學生對產品有疑問時❓，長者大使都耐心為他們一一解答💬。希望是次活動能夠加深中學生對嶺大校舍的了解，及為長者和學生帶來一個交流的機會🗣️，讓學生更了解長者在生活上的不同需要。

【Awesome review｜Gerontech-X Lab Tour (bhss)】

Our team was honored to hold a guided tour of the Lingnan campus and ‘Lingnan Jockey Club Gerontech-X Lab’ with the students of ‘Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Bishop Ho Ming-Wah Secondary School’ on 20-Mar (Mon). The guided tour was wonderful 👏 that Gerontech ambassadors 👩🏻‍🦳👨🏻‍🦳 introduced the history of Lingnan University, campus facilities, and even the design concept of buildings to students🏫. In addition to enabling students better to understand the unique historical background of Lingnan University, it also deepens their understanding of the campus and the life of Lingnan students on campus📚. What impressed the students the most was the fountain in ‘Wing On Square’⛲️, the lychee trees on both sides 🌲 and the scenery of the back mountain🗻 , which was the idea of the epitome of the school emblem. Besides campus guided tours, the ambassadors introduced gerontech products🦯🩼 to secondary school students X Lab. The students were interested in experiencing wheelchairs with the function of👨‍🦼 going up and down stairs. Ambassadors patiently answered students whenever they had questions about the product💬❓. We hoped this event could deepen secondary school understanding of the Lingnan University campus and enjoy the opportunity to communicate with our elderly ambassadors🗣️.

【Meaningful experience recap✨｜ Socialpreneur Incubation Training (bwlss) 💡】

In the previous Socialpreneur Incubation Training held at Lingnan University, it was encouraging to see the enthusiasm of the students ❤️‍🔥! This time, the students of ‘Baptist Wing Lung Secondary School’ became entrepreneurs 👨🏻‍💼, doing their best to overcome every difficulty that came on the road to entrepreneurship🏃! During the gerontech health exercise💃 session, most students were willing to step forward🙋🏻‍♀️ and accept the challenge, which was very commendable! We hoped that students would be able to apply what they have learned and inject this new growth momentum into the community in the future🌟!

本團隊有幸於本年度3月2日（星期四）與「浸信會永隆中學」的學生進行了「樂齡社創培訓」活動📚，與學生探索創新樂齡科技如何紓解人口老化👴🏻👵🏻對社會所帶來的挑戰。過程中，學生反應熱烈🔥，活動中他們分組討論設計一個嶄新的技術🔭，盡顯他們豐富的想像力。此外，培訓中另一個小遊戲「棉花糖意粉塔」🍡讓同學們分組疊出最高的意粉塔，他們非常慎重地設計及製成出牢固的高塔。希望是次活動能夠引導學生反思自己的想像力或能為社區帶來新的技術，同時在創作過程中，亦不忘團隊合作🤝的重要性。

【🌻Awesome review｜Socialpreneur Incubation Training (bwlss)🧠】
Our team was honored to hold a Socialpreneur Incubation Training session📚with the students of ‘Baptist Wing Lung Secondary School’ on 2-Mar (Thu) to promote how innovative gerontechnology could relieve the challenge of the ageing population👴🏻👵🏻. During the process, students responded enthusiastically🔥. For example, students discussed in groups how to design a brand-new technology🔭and demonstrated their rich imagination. In addition, there was another game, ‘Spaghetti Marshmallow Tower Challenge’🍡, to facilitate students to form the tallest spaghetti tower. We hoped this workshop could become a platform for students to reflect on their capability of bringing new technologies to the community using their imagination and the importance of teamwork🤝 during the creative process.

本團隊有幸於本年度2月25號（星期六）參與了由「屯門健康城市」舉辦的「健步八千」大型集體健步活動，鼓勵區內市民養成每天步行的習慣。本計劃團隊以及一群「浸信會永隆中學」的義工同學都一同參與活動👫，當中同學與區內市民互相交流及完成熱身運動，場面十分和諧及充滿活力✨。本團隊在是次活動場地中擺設攤位，藉此向區內市民宣揚有關樂齡科技的產品資訊。當中有不少公眾人士有意了解樂齡科技如何幫助他們日常生活的需要💊。希望是次活動能夠成功引起大眾對於樂齡科技的關注📚。

【🌟Awesome review｜Healthy 8,000 Steps Campaign🚶‍♂】

Our team was honored to participate in the “Healthy 8,000 Steps Campaign” organized by the ‘Tuen Mun Healthy City’ on 25th-Feb (Sat) to encourage residents in the district to develop the habit of healthy walking. Our project team and volunteer students from ‘Baptist Wing Lung Secondary School’ participated in the activity together👫. Some students communicated with the citizens, and the scene was very harmonious and full of energy✨. Our team set up a booth to promote the product information about gerontechnology to the citizens. Many participants were interested in learning how gerontechnology could address their needs💊. We hoped this event could successfully attract the public's attention to gerontechnology📚.
