Technical divers are known for their flawless trim and effortless control underwater. But every confident diver you see started exactly where you are, learning, practicing, improving

The art of trim is a continuous, progressive skill that requires focus, proper training, patience, and motivation

It all comes down to building good foundations early on. Without a solid foundation, everything else becomes harder, especially as you face different equipment configurations, changing depths, and challenging environmental conditions

Good trim isn't about perfection. It's about feeling comfortable, relaxed, and in control. When it clicks, everything changes:

🌬️ Better gas consumption: Move efficiently and make your air last longer

🎯 Less effort: A proper kicking technique eliminates clumsy, wasted movements

βš–οΈ Superior stability: Build the control needed to handle task-loading and advanced skills.

🧘🏽 Calmer dives: Your underwater experience becomes truly effortles and enjoyable

Later on, these exact fundamentals become non-negotiable for technical diving, crucial for controlling your depths, managing deco stops, and handling task-loading safely

But it's not about going deeper, it's about diving better 🌊 And it all starts from your very first immersions and training experiences.

We are truly passionate about forming and training divers with excellent trim, so you can step out into the ocean and fully enjoy the beauty of the underwater world!

No more seahorse diving! 🚫🐴

We've been immersed in Bali's waters all week, and we are already panning the next trip!

Barrel sponge spawning

Twice per year, this rare event takes place. Following the lunar cycle, usually between 5 and 22 days after the full moon, often in the early morning, sea sponges release s***m and eggs into the water column to maximize fertilization.

This is a collective event, and some sponges can release both gametes, as many species are hermaphroditic. In this video, you can see a male releasing s***m, which can last for up to an hour.

Once fertilization occurs, either inside the sponge or in the water column, the larvae drift with the currents until they find a suitable place to settle and grow, remaining there for the rest of their lives.

Some other interesting facts about sea sponges: they are among the earliest multicellular organisms in evolution and have been around for over 600 million years. They do not possess true organs or tissues and can live for thousands of years. The oldest recorded sea sponge is estimated to be around 2,300 years old, although most individuals you see are likely just a few hundred years old.

Before synthetic sponges were invented, natural sea sponges were widely collected and used for cleaning.

Have you ever witnessed something like this underwater? πŸ“©πŸ‘‡
