In Term 2, our students explored the concept of push and pull through hands-on activities that encouraged problem-solving, coordination, and teamwork. From rolling hoops to moving objects and experimenting with force, children learned key physics concepts in a fun, age-appropriate way that builds both confidence and understanding.

Our Year 1 Students worked hands-on with measurement, comparing lengths and organising objects using practical tools. Through real activities, they developed number sense, problem-solving skills, and a deeper understanding of how maths is used in everyday learning.

Learning maths becomes meaningful when students can see and touch the concepts.

Global Perspectives Year 3

Our Year 3 students explored Global Perspectives through hands-on activities, discussion, and collaboration. By asking questions, sharing ideas, and working together, they are learning to understand the world around them and see different viewpoints with curiosity and respect.

Building global awareness starts with small conversations and thoughtful learning moments like these.

Our sports sessions help students build coordination, balance, and confidence through movement and play. Running, jumping, and navigating obstacle activities support physical development while encouraging teamwork, focus, and perseverance.

Strong bodies support confident learners.

Our students enjoyed a creative origami session, carefully folding paper to create rabbits and butterflies.

Through this activity, they practiced fine motor skills, followed step-by-step instructions, and built focus and patience, all while having fun with shapes and creativity.

Exploring Texture & Nature 🍃

Our EY3 students created leaf foil relief artwork by observing natural shapes, textures, and patterns. This activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and an appreciation for nature while experimenting with colour and materials.

Art becomes even more meaningful when it connects to the world around us.

Through singing and movement, our students practised positive affirmations that build confidence, self-expression, and emotional awareness. These joyful moments help children find their voice, move with confidence, and support one another in a safe, encouraging environment.
