Parent Access Guide to the Tyro App

This guide outlines the steps required for parents to access the Tyro platform:

• Download the Tyro app from the App Store or Google Play
• Create an account using the email invitation issued by Coláiste Pobail Acla
• Verify your email using the one-time code provided
• Set your password and log in to the system

If you have not received an invitation, please check your Junk/Spam folder first. If you still cannot find it, contact us at [email protected] with your preferred contact email address and we will be happy to assist you.

Last Chance! Copies of our yearbook are flying out the door!

We are prioritising sales for students to make sure every family has their copy.

Remaining books will then be for general sale in the Achill/Newport/Mulranny/Ballycroy areas.

Price is €15 available from the school. Thank you all for your support.

Coláiste Pobail Acla Yearbook 2026

On the last day of school, students eagerly got their copies of the school's first ever yearbook. Later that day, Principal Jason Ó Mongáin met Midwest Radio broadcaster, Gerry Glennon, in Mulranny and presented him with his very own copy!
So far the feedback has been immensely positive from students, teachers and families. You can still purchase your copy from the school during the exams period. Copies are €15 and selling fast!

As the Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate examinations begin, we wish all our students every success!

We would like to extend a huge congratulations to our JCSP class on their fantastic achievement as they were presented with their JCSP profiles this week. It was a wonderful occasion celebrating all of their hard work, dedication, and progress.

A special word of thanks to Megan for the delicious cakes and cupcakes – they added a lovely touch to the celebration and were thoroughly enjoyed by all.

We were also delighted to welcome Regina Anderson our Director of Schools, to Coláiste Pobail Acla. Thank you for joining us.

Finally, we wish all of our students the very best of luck in their upcoming Junior Cycle exams. We are very proud of you all. Go n-éirí an t-ádh libh!

The Leaving Cert class of 2026 had their Graduation night in Coláiste Pobail Acla on Thursday, 21st May. In the company of their parents, guardians, friends and families, the group reflected on their 6 years in Coláiste Pobail Acla.

They reminisced on how their time here has shaped them into the young men and women that they are today. We wish each and every one of them, all the very best in their upcoming exams and all their future endeavours.

In order to make candidates aware of the key requirements to ensure that their examination scripts are processed accurately, we would greatly appreciate if you would bring the Candidate Information Video (below) to the attention of your Leaving Certificate, and Junior Cycle candidates again in advance of the 2026 examinations.

In order to reduce unnecessary stress to candidates, please encourage all Leaving Certificate and Junior Cycle candidates to familiarise themselves with the Candidate Information Video prior to the commencement of the examinations.
