Ashbourne Community School

Well done to 3rd year student Tomas McGrath who ran for the school over the weekend at the Tailteann games. Running the 100mtr hurdles in the Leinster schools vest. He ran a massive PB 13.76 to finish 2nd and is now selected for the Irish school team, competition at the ( SIAB ) on the 18th of July. He also ran anchor in the Leinster 4 x 100mtrs relay, which won gold.

School Calendar for 2026-27 - subject to change

Please note the date and time for 6th years including 6LCA to start and 1st year induction also. All students including TYs and LCAs will start their first full week of classes on Monday 31st August 2026.

The state exams 2027 will start on Wednesday 9th June 2027.

If you received a perpetual award at this year's ceremony, it will be engraved and ready for collection tomorrow afternoon Monday 8th June 2026. Ms. McNamee will also email the recipients. Please collect as soon as you can once you get the email. 🥇 🏆
