A parents comment made me think “what’s in the name of my service “ the story of the little red hen is one of building resilience, self worth, confidence and the knowledge that with hard work and perseverance I can do it myself. My dad who has passed named my playschool, he taught me all of these things along side compassion and understanding. Our little group are growing in the knowledge that they are valued and heard. Play is a child’s way of navigating their world. We are the scaffolding that supports them

📢 Deadline Approaching – Apply Now for Special School or Autism Class Places (2026/27) 📢

The National Council for Special Education (NCSE) has opened the application portal for parents seeking a place for their child in a special school or autism class for the 2026/2027 school year.

✅ Parents must complete the online form and upload supporting documentation.
✅ Once criteria are met, the NCSE will issue an eligibility letter – this is essential to apply for a place.
⏰ Deadline: Tuesday, 1st October 2025
