2026 SBI Summer Camp Day 1

Snooker & Billiards Ireland are holding a SBI Snooker Summer Camp this week for all our members of any age in the SBI HQ in Carlow from the 24th – 26th of June.

Day 1 had fantastic performances from some of our Top Juniors plus new SBI players. There are a few places left for Day 2 & 3 so sign up today online and do not miss out.

The SBI Summer Camps are held each year to allow our members train in a camp with our National Coach PJ Nolan.

SBI International Camp this Saturday 27th June

Snooker & Billiards Ireland will be holding a International Snooker Camps for our players playing in the 2026 Celtic Challenge and Home Internationals in Leeds.

SBI Camps to allow our players train in a camp with our National Coach PJ Nolan who is also a WPBSA Coach and Head of Coaching in the European Billiards & Snooker Association.

National Team Camps is from 11am-4pm in the Academy in Carlow.

Snooker & Billiards Ireland will be part of twelve nations across three continents who be represented at the 2026 World Disability Snooker Championship in Thailand from 16-21 June.

Dylan Rees, Colvin O Brien, Francis Coyle, Jack Ryan, Shea Fell and National Disability Coach Shane Gorman will travel to the event in Thailand.

SBI / Aaron Hill Elite Squad Training Day

On Saturday the 13th of June Snooker & Billiards Ireland held the first of our SBI / Aaron Hill Elite Squad training day for our talented young stars in the Snooker & Billiards Academy of Excellence in Carlow. SBI would like to thank our Junior Snooker Sponsor Clancy Homes for their continued support.

On the day, the players on the Elite Squad were coached by our National Coach PJ Nolan and his assistant coach Ed Donnelly from Newbridge CYMS. This camp was all about getting the players to understand how to practice better and how to record their scores in their own training booklet. The players were all wearing their new Elite Squad polo shirts.
