Toddlers:

Last week in the toddler room, we spoke about all our wonderful dads. We asked the children what nice things we can do for them, and they told us to ‘tidy up’, ‘play with them’, and ‘give a hug’.

We made some lovely cards, which they were all excited to take home with them 🩷

This week, we will talk about different jobs and careers.

Have a lovely weekend 🙂

Preschool:

Last week in the Preschool room, we continued our sports theme. We took part in different sports stations and had lots of fun making some goofy American footballs. The children also brought in different balls from home, and we discussed the sports that they are used for. 😊

This week we will be concentrating on our Graduation and making the final preparations for the big day. ❤️

Toddlers:

Last week in the toddler room we learned all about camping.

We made our own campfires by first creating handprints and then painting the wood at the bottom to complete our artwork. We had great fun crawling in and out of our tent and talking about what we need to bring on a camping trip, such as a sleeping bag, torch, and picnic basket.

We also danced around the room, performing different actions to the story We're Going on a Bear Hunt 🐻.

This week we will be talking about Father's Day and all the nice things we can do for our fantastic dads. 😀

We also sang some campfire songs at circle time. Lastly, we played in our tent, role-playing camping scenarios such as sleeping and hearing noises outside the tent.

This week we are learning all about the colour yellow and bees.
