So today is the day that some of the little people in our lives are starting back at school. It can be a highly emotional time for both parent and child and it can sometimes take a while for the your little one to adjust to their structured routine. If the nerves begin to kick in on the way to school then perhaps you could try this.
Keep the mood happy and positive then try a deep breathing exercise like deep buzzy breath. πππ
Breathe in deeply, hold for 3 counts then exhale slowly making a buzzing sound. The sound alone is sure to bring a smile to your childβs face and the slow deep breathing will help control their anxious thoughts. X
