What an amazing year...

We want to thank every single student who supported us - from everyone who engaged with our stands, attended our events and protests, to our class representatives and volunteers who gave their time to work for our Union!

Here are some highlights from the year:

⭐ Launched a permanent Food Pantry, visited by over 2,600 students, and provided an estimated 17,357 meals.

⭐ Opened a new Common Room in the Western Gateway Building to provide facilities (including microwaves) to students on a satellite campuses.

⭐ Received 2,560 responses for our Cost of Living Survey, ran in association with CUBS and Access, to highlight how the cost of living crisis affects students.

⭐ Provided over 1,800 free breakfasts to commuting students through our Commuter Breakfast Club iniatitive.

⭐ Launched our GEM Report on the cost of Graduate Entry Medicine in collaboration with UCDSU, UL Student Life, RCSI SU, and AMLÉ, which was presented at Leinster House.

⭐Publicly condemned and protested the government's removal of the temporary €1,000 reduction in student fees, effectively increasing yearly fees by €500 for all EU undergraduate students.

⭐ Oversaw the successful reopening of the Mardyke Athletics Track and ensured all capitation funds were spent in line with respective referenda wording

And so much more! you can read the full list in the annual report now available in our link-tree! 📚

We wish the very best of luck to the new UCCSU Executive - we know you will do great 🌻
