☀️🌊 What an exciting and refreshing week we've had at Hermitage! 🌊☀️

With the warm weather continuing this week, we carried on exploring our summer theme, with a special focus on something very important: Summer Safety! 🛟🚒💦

To start the week, we received a very special surprise... the firefighters came to visit us! 😍🚒 It was such an amazing experience for our little ones. They had the opportunity to learn about the firefighters' equipment, discover how they help keep our communities safe, try using the water hose, and even explore their huge fire engine! 🚨👨‍🚒✨ The excitement on their faces was priceless!

Throughout the week, we also took part in lots of fun water safety activities. 🏖️💙 Our children designed and created their own life rings 🎨🛟, practised and improved their swimming techniques 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️, learned about protective equipment and important safety measures 👒🦺, and enjoyed investigating which objects float and which sink through hands-on experiments. ⚓🦆🔍

Through play, exploration and discovery, our little learners gained a wonderful understanding of water safety and why it is so important. 🌊💡 As summer approaches and we begin spending more time around pools, beaches and water activities, these are valuable lessons that will stay with them for years to come. ☀️🏖️😎

We are so proud of everything they have learned this week and of the enthusiasm they showed in every activity! 💙👏

This week at FSA, the children took part in lots of exciting art activities, exploring different colours, textures, and materials to create their own colourful swimming-inspired masterpieces. They enjoyed experimenting with sensory play, engaging their senses through different activities that encouraged curiosity, creativity, and exploration.

The children also enjoyed building and constructing using a range of resources, working together to create towers, structures, and imaginative designs while developing their teamwork and problem-solving skills.

A special highlight this week was celebrating the start of the World Cup ⚽🌍. The children enjoyed getting involved in football-themed activities, exploring teamwork, creativity, and the excitement of the tournament.

It was a wonderful week filled with creativity, discovery, sensory experiences, and lots of summer fun!

☀️🌊 Summer Adventures Have Begun! 🐚🦈

This week, our little learners started exploring our exciting summer theme and had so much fun along the way!

They enjoyed playing with beach sand, practiced counting skills using seashells, created beautiful starfish crafts, and even escaped from sharks while developing their balance and coordination. 🐚⭐🦈

The children also had a wonderful time decorating their classrooms with bright suns and colorful sea creatures, helping to bring the magic of summer indoors. ☀️🐠🐙

It has been a week full of learning, creativity, laughter, and fun. We can’t wait for more summer adventures ahead! 🌞💛

ST EDMUNDS 🏫

☀️ This week at St Edmund's, we explored the theme of SUMMER! 🌻🌈

And what better way to enjoy it than by playing in the garden and making the most of all the beautiful sunny days we've had so far? 🌞💛

From circle games to exciting water play activities 💦, the children had so much fun while learning, exploring, and creating wonderful memories together.

It has been a week full of smiles, laughter, and lots of summer fun! 😍✨

We played Holiday Bingo 🎲, made postcards for our families 💌, and created our own passports 🛂✨.

ST FRANCIS 🏫

This week at After School has been full of fun activities! Since the weather didn’t really cooperate, we brought the beach vibes indoors and enjoyed a variety of beach-themed activities instead. 🏖️☁️

To wrap up the week, we celebrated with a super fun Ice Cream Party on Friday 🍦🎉 the perfect sweet ending to an amazing week together!

HERMITAGE 🏫

☀️🌊🍦 This week at Hermitage, we’ve been celebrating all things summer! 🍦🌊☀️

Even though the weather outside hasn’t exactly felt like a typical summer week... 🌧️😅 we’ve brought the sunshine and summer fun indoors! 🌞✨

Our little ones have had a fantastic time taking part in lots of fun, fresh, and summery activities 🏖️💛. They made their own ice creams in different flavours 🍦🍓🍋, created beautiful suns using a variety of materials 🌞🎨, and enjoyed sensory play experiences inspired by the beach 🌊🏝️.

The children also explored beach-themed sensory activities with boats 🚤, sand 🏖️, and different animals that can be found by the seaside, including some amazing crabs! 🦀😍

Every activity was filled with creativity, discovery, and plenty of smiles 🥰✨. And that’s not all we enjoyed so many more exciting summer adventures throughout the week!

RATHBORNE 🏫

This week at FSA, our curriculum theme was Summer, and the children had a wonderful time taking part in a variety of fun and engaging activities inspired by the season. ☀️🌈

Throughout the week, the children enjoyed lots of creative art experiences, including painting, exploring different materials, and creating colourful summer-themed artwork.

The children also spent time building and constructing with a variety of resources, working together to create towers, structures, and imaginative creations.

One of the highlights of the week was our water play activities, which provided lots of excitement and laughter while helping the children stay cool and explore different ways of learning through sensory play. It was a fantastic week full of creativity, exploration, and summer fun!

This week, we have continued learning through play! 🌟

Our youngest children have enjoyed imaginative role-play, exploring different professions and learning about the world of work. 👩‍🚒👨‍⚕️👩‍🍳

Some of our children have been practicing the initial letters of their names while developing their fine motor skills through fun, hands-on activities ✏️🖐️

Meanwhile, our oldest children have started exploring the theme of summer, learning about marine animals and discovering the fascinating creatures that live beneath the sea. ☀️🐠🐙

ST EDMUNDS 🏫

This week, our children explored the exciting world of the supermarket! 🛒✨

They had a wonderful hands-on experience setting up their own mini market, organizing products, creating shopping spaces, and taking on different roles throughout the activity. 🥕🍎🥛🧃

Through play, they practiced communication, teamwork, decision-making, and early math skills while having lots of fun. 💬🤝🔢

The market role-play encouraged creativity and imagination, allowing the children to experience everyday situations in a meaningful and engaging way. 🌟😊
