📢 What did we learn from our Focus Group in Greece?

Participants shared valuable insights on the challenges and opportunities faced by neurodivergent individuals when planning their careers and entering the labour market.

Four key findings emerged from the discussion:

🧠 Neurodiversity needs understanding, not assumptions. Stereotypes and misconceptions continue to affect educational experiences, self-confidence, and access to employment opportunities.
🤝 Inclusive workplaces empower talent. Flexible environments, supportive policies, and awareness among employers can help individuals perform at their best and feel valued.
🎓 Early support makes a difference. Access to guidance, understanding, and tailored support from a young age can positively influence motivation, career choices, and future success.
🚀 Strengths-based career guidance is essential. Participants emphasized the importance of personalized and engaging career guidance tools that focus on abilities, interests, and aspirations rather than perceived limitations.

The overall message was clear: creating inclusive pathways to education and employment requires collaboration between schools, families, employers, and support professionals. When strengths are recognized and barriers are reduced, everyone benefits.

📊 Desk Research Findings: Employability Challenges for Young People with SLDs and ADHD in Greece

As part of the My Career Path project, our desk research explored the barriers faced by young people with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLDs) and ADHD during their transition from education to employment.

The findings reveal an important gap between educational support and labour market inclusion.
🔹 Greece has established systems for educational assessment, accommodations, and inclusive schooling. However, structured support for the transition from school to employment remains limited.
🔹 Existing policies primarily focus on academic participation, while targeted employability and career readiness support for neurodivergent young people is still underdeveloped.
🔹 Access to support often depends on family awareness and advocacy, creating inequalities in opportunities and outcomes.
🔹 Young people living in suburban areas face additional challenges due to fragmented services, limited accessibility, and reduced availability of specialised support.

These findings demonstrate the need for more coordinated, inclusive, and personalised career guidance systems that empower young people with ADHD and SLDs to successfully navigate their career pathways.

📊 National Research Findings – Greece

As part of the My Career Path project, our research explored the challenges faced by young people with mild learning disabilities and ADHD in their transition from education to employment.

🟠 Limited access to career guidance
Many participants reported that they had never received career guidance support, making it more difficult to navigate educational and professional pathways.

🟠 Challenges during the job-search process
Organising applications, finding suitable job opportunities, and preparing for interviews were among the most common barriers identified by young people.

🟠 Labour market readiness remains a concern
The vast majority of participants believe that the labour market is not yet adequately prepared to support individuals with learning disabilities and ADHD, highlighting the need for more inclusive practices and greater awareness among employers.

🟠 The need for personalised support
Respondents expressed a strong preference for mentoring, individual career counselling, and flexible learning opportunities that can help them build confidence and develop their professional skills.

💡 The findings underline the importance of creating inclusive career pathways that empower every young person to reach their full potential, regardless of the challenges they may face.

One of the four creativity profiles is The Experimenter.
You test ideas instead of just thinking about them.
When something doesn't work, you adjust and try again.
You're comfortable not knowing the outcome before you start.
That's not recklessness. That's practical creativity — one of the most useful skills in any field right now.
The quiz also maps: The Structured Thinker, The Idea Generator, and The Integrator.
Each profile comes with a growth edge and a next step — not just a label.
Coming October 2026. 👀

That line is actually in the quiz instructions.
Because most goal-setting content asks how you want to show up. This quiz asks how you actually have — in the last 6 months.
Do you follow through when you're not motivated?
Do you return to the plan after missing a day?
Do you set deadlines for yourself — or just intentions?
Your answers land you in one of four profiles: The Dreamer, The Planner, The Sprinter, or The Builder.
Each one is honest. None of them is bad.
Coming October 2026. 👀

The Creativity Style quiz doesn't just tell you what you're good at.
It shows you where you get stuck.
The Structured Thinker executes well — but struggles to generate more than one solution.
The Idea Generator brainstorms fast — but rarely finishes.
The Experimenter moves quickly — but sometimes skips the analysis.
The Integrator connects and refines — but needs to take more risks.
Every profile has a strength and a next step.
Because knowing your style is only useful if you know what to do with it.
Coming October 2026. 👀

Most people hear "creativity" and think: drawing, music, art.
That's not what this quiz is about.
It's about how you think when the instructions are vague. When there's no single correct answer. When the first idea isn't enough.
Do you generate ideas easily — or do you get stuck on the first one?
Do you test things, or just think about them?
Do you connect ideas from different places — or work in one lane?
The Creativity Style quiz maps exactly that. No artistic skill required.
4 profiles. Coming October 2026. 👀

Here's the problem with most career guidance:
It starts with what's in demand. What pays. What's "safe."
And then it works backwards to you — hoping something fits.
MY ZONE flips that.
It starts with 11 zones of human interest and ability. You rate yourself honestly. Your top areas come up. Then you see what careers, skills, and real experiences connect to those areas.
It doesn't tell you what to be.
It shows you where you already lean — and what's possible from there.
Coming October 2026.

The Stage Zone isn't just for actors.
It's for anyone who feels most alive when there's an audience — a room, a camera, a group of people paying attention.
Performers. Public speakers. Hosts. Broadcasters. Content creators. People who turn ideas into presence.
If you score high in Stage, your career map includes acting, media presentation, live events, film, theatre — and any field where your ability to hold a room is the actual skill.
MY ZONE has 11 zones like this one. Each with a full career landscape, real paths, and skills you can start building now.
Dropping October 2026. 👀

"I enjoy solving puzzles and tricky questions." How much is that you? 1–7.
"I feel energized when I perform in front of a group." Scale?
"I care about making a positive difference in the world." Be honest.
66 statements. 11 zones. Your highest scores reveal your top career areas.
No trick questions.
No "you should be a lawyer" at the end.
No pressure to pick something forever.
Just 66 honest ratings — and a starting point that's actually yours.
MY ZONE is coming October 2026. 👀 Follow so you don't miss it.
