This morning, our little ones enjoyed some tasty breakfast treats with their dads on the way into crèche! 💙✨ There were plenty of smiles, chats, cuddles, and special moments shared before the day began. 😊🥰

💙👨‍👧‍👦 Father’s Day Stay and Play in Artane 👨‍👦💙

This morning, the children had lots of fun celebrating Father’s Day by sharing breakfast with their dads during our Stay and Play session in their care rooms. 🥐🍓☕

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and special moments as the children proudly showed their dads around their learning environment and enjoyed spending quality time together. 😊✨

For parents, these sessions offer a valuable insight into their child’s day, learning, and development, while helping to build strong partnerships between home and the early years setting. 🤝🏡 Together, we create a supportive community where children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to thrive. 🌈💙

Sunny garden days for our Clonsilla Preschool and Junior Preschool ☀️🐾

The children enjoyed outdoor play in the garden and got creative by making their very own animal car wash track to help cool the animals down in the sunshine. Using water, imagination, and teamwork, they designed a fun washing station where the animals could splash through and stay refreshed 💛

🌟 1 Year of Dristi! 🌟

Recently, we celebrated a very special milestone—1 year with our wonderful educator, Dristi! 💜

Dristi is a bright, caring, and kind member of our Toddler Room team who lights up every day with her infectious smile. Her warmth, patience, and dedication shine through in every interaction, and she supports each child’s learning journey with such care and compassion.

We are so grateful to have Dristi as part of our Tallaght team and are delighted to celebrate this milestone with her. Here’s to many more years of smiles, learning, and wonderful memories together! ✨

🧪🔬 STEM Activities in Action in Preschool! 🌈

The children in Citywest had great fun with their STEM-themed tuff tray activity. Using tongs, they counted pom poms 🔵🔴🟡🟢🟣🟠 and sorted them into bowls.

This fun activity supported ✨ counting and colour recognition, ✋ fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, 🧠 problem-solving and concentration & 💬 language development and communication.

A wonderful example of learning through play! 🎉🌟 💚

Tiny explorers at our Clonsilla Toddler 1 room have been discovering the magic of light and shadows ✨

Through hands-on play, the children used torches, shapes, and natural light to create patterns, notice movement, and spark their curiosity.

Exploring light and shadows helps develop observation skills, imagination, and early scientific thinking — all while having fun! 🌟

🐸 A Very Special Visitor in Tallaght! 🐸

After all the recent rain, we had a tiny frog hop into our reception area on Friday morning! The children were absolutely delighted to meet him and quickly named him Kermit the Frog. 💚

After lots of excitement and careful observation, we released Kermit back outside to his family. Since then, the children haven’t stopped talking about frogs and asking lots of fantastic questions!

A small visitor that sparked a big day of learning. 🐸✨
