It's Bloomsday! James Joyce's famous novel, 'Ulysses', takes place over the course of 16 June, 1904, and is celebrated annually on 16 June. You'll find copies of Joyce's work across our Galway Mayo, Sligo, and Donegal libraries, along with literary criticism and even a Readers Guide in our eBook collection.

Our Summer Opening Hours start next week on Monday, June 15th. Galway Dublin Road and Wellpark will open 9.30-17.00 until the beginning of September, while Mayo will open 9.30-13.00 and 14.00-17.00. Our Connemara library will be closed from June 22nd until the end of August.
