Ready for Summer Show 2026

We had our annual visit from our neighbour Helen with her 2 tortoises Charlie and Rainbow. We look forward to this visit every year.

We took advantage of the lovely weather and had our circle time over on the church grounds today.

From 8 May 2026 📅, all children completing the ECCE programme 🎒 and starting primary school are invited to visit their local library 📚 to pick up a free book bag 🎁 to support their transition to big school 🏫.

The bags will be available throughout the summer ☀️.

All families are warmly welcomed 🤗 to join the library if they aren’t already members 🪪.

The books and resources 📘🧩 in the book bag help parents and children with the move to primary school. The bag includes books for children to keep 💛 covering topics such as starting school 🏫, making friends 🤝, and big emotions 💬💗. It also contains useful information for parents 🧑‍👧 on supporting the start of primary school and details about what’s available at each local library 📖.

We didn’t realise just how delicious homemade butter could be! 🧈

The children had so much fun shaking the fresh cream and watching it transform into butter right before their eyes in the classroom. A wonderful hands-on learning experience, and very tasty too!!! 😜
