Clonpriest National School

A big thank you to the Parent Association who recently purchased a fantastic range of sports equipment for the pupils in the school for use during active week and beyond. Equipment includes basketballs and hoops, table tennis sets and a badminton net, rackets and shuttlecocks. Funding for this equipment came from very kind and generous donations.

Thank you to Garda Eddie for visiting and chatting to the boys and girls.

We had another brilliant Active Schools Week last week. Thank you to all the people who volunteered their time to share their love of activity with our children.
Thank you to Lucy Murphy School of Dance, Stuart Hickey(Karate), Sammy Revins(Youghal RFC), Janette and Paul from Youghal AC, Maura Barry and Mary Brooker who did an obstacle course and Peter Coady who did military activities.
Thank you to the Parents Association who provided funding for the week. It was jam packed with exciting events like Franks Fit Camp, Michael Russell from Youghal Tennis Club, a fun inflatable and some delicious ice-cream! We are very grateful for everyone`s support.

Huge congratulations to all of our wonderful athletes who participated at yesterday’s Cork City Sports event at MTU, many of whom came home with silverware. We are extremely proud of all our pupils who participated at this event and hope you enjoyed this special day.
