BIS Sunflower GIC AGRA

Through the guidance of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Resource Person Devansh Pachauri, an exposure visit of 60 students from Sunflower Girls Inter College, Mohan Nagar, Shahdara Agra, was successfully organized today.
During the visit to Sleen Shoes Testing Lab located at Chhalesar, the students gained detailed knowledge about shoe manufacturing, sole quality testing, durability, strength, and various testing processes used to determine how long shoes can last. The students also closely observed modern machines and testing techniques used in the laboratory and understood their functioning.
The entire technical team of Sleen Lab explained every process and testing method in detail and made the students aware of the importance of quality standards. This educational visit proved to be highly informative, inspiring, and practically beneficial for the students.
On this occasion, BIS Mentor Kalpana Singh, Lecturer Reena Yadav, and Satish Chandra Sharma were also present.

Sunflower Girls Inter College, Mohan Nagar, Shahdara, Agra
Today, the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), Noida unit successfully conducted an LSB (Orientation) Standards Club activity in the school. The program was inaugurated by BIS Resource Person Mr. Devansh Pachauri by lighting the ceremonial lamp and offering floral tribute to Goddess Saraswati.
The College Principal, Mr. Ajay Yadav, welcomed him by presenting a garland. The Mentor, Mrs. Kalpana Singh, played an important role in organizing and conducting the program. The Team Leader, Priya Yadav, extended her full support in making the program successful.
A total of 60 students participated in the club activity.
Mr. Satish Sharma, Ms. Vandana Tiwari, Mr. Ashish Sharma, and others also played an important role in the successful ex*****on of the program.
On this occasion, students were informed about the importance of standards and their application in daily life. The students actively participated and showed great enthusiasm in understanding the Standards Club activities.
