International Yoga Day Celebration 🧘‍♂️
Podar International School, Vastral proudly celebrated International Yoga Day, honoring India's timeless gift to the world. Yoga, which originated in India, is now recognized and practiced across the globe as a path to physical well-being, mental peace, and spiritual growth.
Students enthusiastically participated in a Yoga Pyramid, Surya Namaskar, and various Yogasanas. A road rally was organized to spread awareness about the importance of yoga, and students distributed Yoga Day badges to members of the community. Participants also took a pledge to make yoga a part of their daily lives.
It is a matter of pride that the world has embraced Yoga, an integral part of Indian culture and spiritual heritage. Today, millions of people across different countries follow this ancient practice to achieve harmony of the body, mind, and soul. Through this celebration, students highlighted the universal message of peace, wellness, and unity that Yoga represents.

Students of Podar International School, Vastral participated in an Online Awareness Program on Prevention of Drug and Substance Abuse organized by CBSE in collaboration with the Narcotics Control Bureau on 19th June 2026. The session created awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encouraged students to adopt a healthy and responsible lifestyle.
